We’ve launched our new online consultation service
We’ve taken on board patient feedback and recognise that there have been challenges in response times with online consultations over the past few months. Rest assured, we’re dedicated to improving and getting things right!
Enhancing your experience is our priority, and that’s why we’re going a little further with the digital age! Now, your routine queries can be addressed quicker and within a clinically appropriate timeframe.
Our new system is user-friendly and accessible via smartphones, your computer, and more. This change also aims to free up our phone lines for those less able to navigate online services.
Just click on ‘Get help and advice online’ on our homepage.
You can use the online consultation platform to
· Get help with a non-urgent medical issue.
· Ask us about fit notes, medical reports, and letters.
· Read online advice.
After submitting your consultation form, we will review your answers within five working days.
This could be:
· Self-care advice
· A follow-up phone call
· An in-person appointment
If you’ve shared your mobile number with us, we’ll keep you updated at every step.
We’ve also made some adjustments to our phone system to include an option for callers to receive a text message that leads directly to our online consultation portal.
